As a leading organization in feminist media, it supports Syrian journalists and media institutions in gender-sensitive reporting and advocating for women’s rights. Through advocacy, capacity building, policy analysis, research, and safety mechanisms, SFJN combats discrimination and inequality in the MENA region, with a focus on Syrian media. Its team of feminist thinkers, activists, and problem-solvers brings diverse perspectives and strong analytical, social, and communication skills to drive change in the media industry and support women human rights defenders (WHRDs).

Nadeem Center is an Egyptian NGO founded in 1993, dedicated to providing psychological and legal rehabilitation services for torture and violence victims. The center works to raise public awareness through campaigns and the publication of survivor testimonies. It also helps women victims of violence and is a founding member of the Aman Network, which combats torture in North Africa and the Middle East. Nadeem organizes regional training programs to enhance psychological support skills for torture survivors. Since its inception, the center has assisted over 3,000 torture victims and contributed to documenting torture cases in Egypt and other countries.

A transgender feminist queer researcher, working since 2017 on gender plurality issues from an intersectional feminist perspective. Interested in gender justice from a political and legal standpoint, which has been developed through a personal experience of detention as a methodology for fieldwork, aiming to improve the conditions of transgender individuals on both legislative levels and within prisons.
